1993 Texas Experience and 1994 Resistance - Management Recommendations

Thomas W. Fuchs

ABSTRACT

Tobacco budworms and bollworms occurred in relatively low numbers across most of Texas in 1993. Resistance management philosophy in Texas is placing less emphasis on insecticide management and more emphasis on crop management. The intent is do everything possible from a crop management perspective to avoid or minimize tobacco budworm problems.
