Benefits of early cotton varieties are better adaptability to short season climates and lower cost in irrigation and pest control. New experiments genotypes of Pima extra-long staple cotton (Gossypium barbadense L.) fruit earlier than the older types. This paper discusses plant characteristics that differ between early and late fruiting genotypes. |
