HR-20900 (Insecticide)

ABSTRACT

HR-20900 is a new synthetic pyrethroid compound that is being developed for the agricultural markets in the United States by Hoechst-Roussel Agri-Vet Company. The commercial name for this product will be Striker 1EC Insecticide.

Striker 1EC Insecticide has shown excellent crop tolerance and biological activity against primary and secondary cotton and soybean insects. The expected rate range will be from 0.02 lb ai/A to 0.032 lb ai/A. In field trials conducted across the cotton belt, Striker 1EC Insecticide has shown results that are equal or superior to standard insecticide treatments.

An EUP is expected in 1994 with full registration in 1995.
