USDA Pesticide Recordkeeping Program

ABSTRACT

Section 1491 of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation and Trade Act of 1990, commonly referred to as the 1990 Farm Bill, requires all certified applicators to keep records of their use of Federal restricted use pesticides for a period of two years. The Secretary of Agriculture has designated the Agricultural Marketing Service with the responsibility to administer the Federal Recordkeeping Program.
