Marketing Cotton Made Easy

ABSTRACT

Cotton producers can use simple cash marketing strategies and still receive an above average price. Research shows that by selling cotton every November 1, cotton producers would have received a net cotton price that was within seven cents per pound of the cotton price received if prices could have been perfectly predicted.
