Cotton Growth Patterns in the Southwest

ABSTRACT

Cotton growth patterns in the Southwest are best described by two words, EXTREMELY VARIABLE. The Southwest is characterized by extremes in growing conditions, weather, soils, varieties and production systems. To adequately describe the plant, each production region must be described differently.
