Caparol, Bladex, Karmex, and Linex were applied lay-by to evaluate their affect on the establishment of wheat, vetch, or winter weeds as cover crops. Plant counts taken in October or December did not result in the cover crops being adversely affected. The lay-by herbicides did not affect total surface residue determined mid-March to mid-April.
