Advancements in the Motion Control HVI System

ABSTRACT

Motion Control, Inc., manufacturer of High-Volume Instruments (HVI) for the measurement of cotton fiber properties, announced three new features at the 1991 ITMA exhibition in Hannover, Germany. These features are measurement of short-fiber content in cotton samples, a "universal" specimen sampler capable of sampling form saw-ginned or roller-ginned cotton, and a near-infrared reflectance (NIR) instrument for the measurement of cotton maturity and sugar content.
