A strain of fungus, Beauveria bassiana, ATCC 74040, FCI formulated as Naturalis(TM), is effective against immatures and adults of the sweet-potato whitefly. Laboratory, greenhouse, and field evaluations give significant reduction in populations in cotton as well as in vegetables.
