CYMBUSH is ICI Americas' new broad spectrum pyrethroid insecticide. During the past four years in ICI development, CYMBUSH has demonstrated a high degree of activity on most insect pests. When compared to the commercially available pyrethroids, CYMBUSH gives a more rapid knock-down of insect nests and a broader spectrum of control, including the Spodoptera spp. Recommended rates are much lower than most conventional pyrethroids. There will be two commercially available formulations of CYMBUSH, a 3.0 lb. per gallon (EC) emulsifiable concentrate to be used with water, and a 3.0 lb. per gallon (OL) oil liquid formulation designed specifically for use in oil based sprays.
