A New Pyrethroid Tralonethrin (HAG 107/RU 25474) Four Years of Research in the States

ABSTRACT

Tralomethrin is a new patented pyrethroid with a tetrahalogenated substitution. The active ingredient contains two isomers selected from 16 possible steroisomers. It's spectra of activity is very similar to the commercial light stable pyrethroids. Depending upon crops and insects, dosage rates vary between. 0.1 and 0.3 lbs a.i./acre. On cotton, after two years of experimental use permits, the rates of use are between 6-8 fluid ounces per acre with a pivotal dose at 0.15 pounds a.i.
