ABSTRACT

Before going into the highlights of the 1982 Cotton Breeder-User Seminar, let me briefly review the origin of its predecessor, the old Cotton Spinner-Breeder Conference, as presented at the conference by Mr. B.F. Smith, Executive Vice President of the Delta Council.
