ABSTRACT

We Must Measure additional cotton characteristics; the Agricultural Marketing Service must obtain market price differentials on these characteristics; the government loan must incorporate premiums and discounts relating to these characteristics to encourage the growth, harvest and ginning of higher quality cotton; and a system must be in place to enable the producer to receive his just reward.
