Implementing a Resistance Management Strategy for Cotton Pests in Northwest Mexico.

Jose L. Martinez-Carrillo

ABSTRACT

The increase in resistance levels to insecticides is one of the main problems for Entomologists involved in pest control. Different countries have instituted resistance management programs, aimed to prolong the useful life of insecticides. This paper describes the actions that have taken place in Northwest Mexico, to counteract the resistance problem in cotton pests.
