ABSTRACT

A multi-use automated weather station network has been established in Southeast Missouri. Data from the weather station is used in the Gossym/Comax cotton model and The Scheduler, irrigation scheduling model. Additionally, evapotranspiration data is calculated and distributed in Crop Water Use Reports to Southeast Missouri farmers to aid in crop irrigation scheduling. This paper discusses the establishment and use of the weather station network in Southeast Missouri.
