Plant Growth Regulators and Harvest Aids -- Proper Use

Kater Hake

ABSTRACT

Proper use of PGR's and Harvest Aids presents producers with both opportunity and difficulty in their cotton production program. A physiological approach to these materials that focuses on: the mechanism of action, plant status and weather interactions, will increase the reliability and profitability from use of these products. Producers should expect slow progress in developing the experience and knowledge base necessary to profitable use of PGR's and Harvest Aids.
