Management of Barky Cotton

Don Bell

ABSTRACT

The phenomenon of bark in cotton is becoming better understood because research is being focused on it from several aspects. Crop management to control insects and to offset the effects of weather factors are important strategies. Improved harvesters and gin machinery make it possible to avoid or remove much of the bark. The video that is now available outlines the best information currently available.
