Comparison of Electrodyn and Conventional Application of Fluazifop-Butyl in Cotton

Clyde C. Dowler

ABSTRACT

Over the past several years, new low volume pesticide application technology has been developed for application of uniform spray droplets on target organisms. In 1982, ICI Americas made available to selected agricultural research stations new application technology equipment called the Electrodyn sprayer (1). The program objective was to evaluate efficacy of fluazifop-butyl applied postemergence to cotton and selected grass species and to evaluate the operational efficiency of the Electrodyn sprayer(1). The objective of this research was to measure the efficacy of fluazifop-butyl applied postemergence to Texas panicum in cotton with the Electrodyn and conventional sprayer.
