Jesse F. Moore

ABSTRACT

The Secretary of Agriculture has appointed top cotton industry leaders to a National Advisory Committee on Cotton Marketing whose purpose is to review the cotton marketing system and recommend improvements, with special focus on those areas impacted by USDA programs such as cotton classification, the price support loan structure, and cotton standards. The committee has met twice and has made ten recommendations which have been accepted by USDA.
