Cotton Response to Starter Fertilizer Applications

David S. Guthrie

ABSTRACT

Response to side-banded fertilizer applications (10-34-0), was evaluated in cultivars 'Deltapine 61' and 'McNair 235', planted on three dates in coastal plains soils testing high in available phosphorus. Stand establishment, flowering profile and lint yields were determined in this 3-year study. Results indicate a positive response to side-banded fertilizer applications at planting.
