Field Performance of Selected Mid-South Cotton Cultivars in Verticillium dahliae Infested Soil in Mississippi

William E. Batson, Jr., and Donald J. Blasingame

ABSTRACT

Differences in the occurrence of foliar symptoms of Verticillium wilt 70 DAP(days after planting) were evident in ten Mid-South adapted cotton cultivars grown in Verticillium dalhliae infested soil in Mississippi. Plants with foliar symptoms 70 DAP produced less cotton than those asymptomatic at this time.
