CYTHION^® RTU is a new cotton boll weevil insecticide developed by American Cyanamid Company. CYTHION RTU is a formulation of once refined emulsified vegetable oil and CYTHION "The Premium Grade Malathion". Each gallon of CYTHION RTU contains 4.1 pounds of CYTHION.

CYTHION RTU offers several benefits to the cotton grower. Among these is a broad spectrum of cotton insect pest control. CYTHION RTU not only provides excellent control of the cotton boll weevil but also controls a number of other important cotton insect pests including aphids, fleahoppers, and plant bugs.

CYTHION RTU offers a unique application versatility to the cotton farmer. CYTHION RTU can be mixed with water and applied with conventional ground or air application equipment, or it can be applied undiluted Ultra-Low-Volume. CYTHION RTU has been extensively field tested in cotton since 1985 by university, extension, and private research consultants. Currently CYTHION RTU is registered under Section 24C registrations for use in cotton in 8 states including Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. A federal registration by the EPA is pending.
