E. Burris, D.F. Clower, J.E. Jones, and S.L. Anthony

ABSTRACT

Cooperative studies to suppress boll weevils through use of the trap cropping technique and a resistant cotton strain were conducted by L.S.U. Agronomists and Entomologists in the 1982 season. Two advanced cotton strains, La 1363 L s ne and La 81-560 FN, that were developed by the Louisiana Agricultural Experiment Station and evaluated agronomically by Jones et. al. (6 and 7) were selected for use in these tests.
