ABSTRACT

Estimates of the costs of producing cotton In the Delta Area of Mississippi are needed for planning and research. A concerted effort of data collection, analysis, and judgment by a committee approach to the development of cotton budgets was used to estimate the costs of producing cotton. This paper is concerned with analysis of data collected from individual cotton producers which is used by the committee to make final budgetary estimates.
