Costs of Producing and Marketing U.S. Cotton

ABSTRACT

Estimates of the major costs associated with producing and marketing U.S. cotton during the 1985/8 season, with comparisons, are presented. Costs were developed for moving cotton from 4 major regions to domestic and foreign outlets, and for 3 selected trading areas in the United States to several foreign outlets.
