Nutsedge rust [Puccinia canaliculata (Schw.) Lagerh.] offers the most promising method for control of yellow nutsedge (Cyperus esculentus L.) as it dehydrates tubers. It has been successfully used in an Integrated Weed Management System (IWMS) for control of yellow nutsedge.
