A Quantitative Method for Gossypol and its Analogs

ABSTRACT

Gas-liquid chromatography is used in a quantitative procedure for determining gossypol and its analogs in cotton plant material. This method is compared to the previously described NMR procedure for determining these terpene aldehydes.
