Pix Multiple Applications-A Three Year Summary

Leslie Lloyd, Charles Finley, and Wade Stewart

ABSTRACT

Boll set, final plant height and yield were evaluated in production cotton fields in TN, MS, AR, LA, and 71 in the years 1984-1986. Multiple applications of PIX (2.5 to 5 grms per acre applied 4 times starting at match head square) provided nearly equal height control, higher boll counts and higher yields than did the untreated cotton and the PIX plants applied at early bloom.
