What’s Going on with Dual Gene Bt Cotton? Why Are We Spraying More for Caterpillar Control?

Presenters from various sectors of the agricultural industry will describe issues related to bollworm survival and damage to cotton varieties expressing multiple Bt proteins. The workshop will offer the experiences of agricultural consultants that battle bollworms in pyramided-gene Bt cotton, research results from university and government entities from the field and laboratory, and an industry perspective that deals with Bt resistance monitoring efforts and products in the pipeline that may help alleviate this problem.
