ABSTRACT World cotton production is expected to rise by almost 9% to exceed 21 million tons for the first time in 2001/02, while world exports are forecast to increase by 6% to reach 6.1 million tons. However, evolution of the supply and of the exports of the different types of cottons varies considerably from one category to the other. |
