Calculating Emission Inventories of Field Operations in Texas

A. R. Pargmann, B. K. Fritz, C. B. Parnell and B. W. Shaw

ABSTRACT

The development of a more exact state emissions inventory is critical from the aspect of regulatory issues. Emissions inventory are used to determine the state's biggest contributors to the ambient concentration of pollutants. The Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 require all nonattainment areas for PM10 to incorporate available control methods. With the improvement of the emissions inventory for field operations, unfair regulatory actions can be decreased.
