ABSTRACT
Fruit retention is an important attribute of upland cotton production. Field studies were conducted in 1999 at the Oklahoma State University Southwest Research and Extension Center at Altus in Corporation with Western Oklahoma State College in evaluating the effects of in-furrow application of Temik® on fruit retention of irrigated upland cotton. Mapping data from all four observation dates indicate that Temik® insecticide increased fruit retention on 97% of all fruiting branches evaluated.
