ABSTRACT

A multi-state survey of cotton aphids showed that the aphid fungus, Neozygites fresenii, was present in all ten states surveyed (AL, AR, GA, LA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TN, and TX). Based on an epizootic threshold level of 15% infected aphids, epizootics began in the last week of June and first week of July in most areas.
