JCIBPC Test Programs

Print Version

Commodity Credit Corporation Form 809 is a pledge from ginners to USDA that all bales from their gins will be wrapped and tied only in products meeting JCIBPC bale packaging specifications. If bales are part of a JCIBPC-approved test program, the requirement is waived as long as Experimental Test Program (ETP) bales are properly identified and reported to the JCIBPC.

In instances where the ETP materials are used, commercial packaging firms with bagging or ties/straps in a JCIBPC-approved experimental test program can ensure their gins satisfy the reporting requirement by completing and submitting Participating Gin/Warehouse (PG/W) forms on line. Either the company or the gin using the material(s) may complete and submit a PGW by selecting the appropriate links (bagging and/or bale ties/straps) below. After a link is selected, the web page containing the forms will open.
