Participating Gin/Warehouse (PG/W) TIE/STRAPPING Form Page

Commercial packaging firms with wire ties or polyester (PET) plastic strapping in an approved Experimental Test Program (ETP) must report to the JCIBPC when those materials are placed at participating gins. The following PG/W form may be used to submit the required information to the JCIBPC.

To insure each company's ties/straps are counted as 'patterns placed', PG/W forms should be submitted prior to delivering the ties/straps to participating gins. Commercial packaging firms have until December 15, 2011 to submit completed forms for each gin using their ETP ties/straps. This does not prevent a firm with an ETP from counting ties/straps scheduled for delivery after December 15 when the total number of patterns placed is determined if PG/W forms for participating gins were submitted prior to the reporting deadline.

The following information is required for all PG/W forms: (1) the type of bag the participating gin will use with the ETP ties/strap; (2) contact information for the participating gin and gin manager (including the gin manager's email address); and (3) contact information for warehouse(s) and warehouse manager(s) where the gin will send the bales tied/strapped with ETP materials.

The table below lists: the two commercial packaging firm's with 2011 tie/strap ETPs, a brief description of each ETP tie/strap, the number of patterns of ties/straps approved by the JCIBPC for each ETP and the tare weight of the ties/strap in the ETP.
