In the last several days the National Cotton Council, along with representatives of NCTO, ACSA and AMCOT, met with Administration officials regarding India’s cotton exports.

Adams says India issued a ban on export registrations this past April.

Adams says following the Apr. 19 announcement banning further export registrations, the difference between the world cotton price and India’s internal price grew to 13 cents.

According to Adams the President and other administration officials are traveling to India early this month.
