The National Cotton Council along with American Farm Bureau and other Agriculture groups filed a petition with the Supreme Court asking for a rehearing of the NCC verses EPA case in the 6th circuit court of appeals.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 2 cuts.  Both cuts are Keith Menchey, manager of science and environmental issues for the National Cotton Council.

The National Cotton Council along with American Farm Bureau and other Agriculture groups filed a petition with the Supreme Court asking for a rehearing of the NCC verses EPA case in the 6th circuit court of appeals.  Keith Menchey, manager of science and environmental issues for the Council says the sixth circuit court concluded that certain pesticide applications particularly those over, in or near water would require an NPDS permit under the Clean Water Act.
