In addition to the traditional Direct and Counter Cyclical Commodity Program, or DCP,  Congress created the Average Crop Revenue Election  Program, or ACRE, in the 2008 Farm Bill.  Robbie Minnich, senior government relations representative for the National Cotton Council, says producers need to determine which program would be a better fit for their farm and contact the FSA to sign up.
