Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council and the delegation’s leader, was joined by three other producers, two warehouseman, a ginner, a merchant and a cooperative merchandiser. The trip was a huge success, according to Adams.

Adams says they began their trip in Beijing and then concluded in Shanghai.

According to Adams, this type of delegation provides a foundation for which the U.S. can continue to build a business relationship with the importers in China.
