The Cotton Ginners School was started 22 years ago to educate gin employees about basic equipment operation, maintenance and safety.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Harrison Ashley Executive Vice-President of the National Cotton Ginners Association.

The Cotton Ginners School was started 22 years ago to educate gin employees about basic equipment operation, maintenance and safety. Harrison Ashley, Executive Vice-President of the National Cotton Ginners Association, says the classes for 2008 have are under way.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
There are 3 different levels of classes.  Ashley recommends starting with level one since each level builds on the previous year of course work

According to Ashley, continuing education courses are also offered.
