The National Cotton Council is coordinating four advanced training workshops to increase cotton producers’ and consultants’ awareness of best management practices.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts.  All cuts are Dr. Bill Robertson, Manager, Cotton Agronomy, Soils and Physiology for the National Cotton Council.

Suggested introduction cut 1:
The National Cotton Council is coordinating four advanced training workshops to increase cotton producers’ and consultants’ awareness of best management practices. Dr. Bill Robertson, Manager of Cotton Agronomy for the Council says the seminars are an extension of the consultants’ workshop that was held during the Beltwide Cotton Conferences.

Suggested introduction cut 2:
According to Robertson, the main focus of the seminars is Best Management Practices.

Suggested introduction cut 3:
Robertson says Continuing Education Units will be offered to attendees. Also a website is being created for all regions of the cotton belt to access this same information that is being provided at the seminars.
