With Congress back in session this week the farm bill conference negotiations are continuing. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, the sticking point is how much money above the baseline Congress is going to be able to come up with to fund the many needs that are in the farm bill.

Minnich says the other complicating factor is the administration’s demand for a fiscally sound bill.
