This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts. All cuts are David Wildy (pronounced Will-dee), a producer from Manila, Arkansas.

Mississippi County in Northeast Arkansas produces over two hundred thousand acres of cotton. David Wildy, produces cotton in the county and says irrigation has become a crucial part of his operation.

According to Wildy they are seeing a greater return over their variable costs with center pivot irrigation.

Also to better utilize water and time Wildy has started using well monitors. Monitors are usually a very expensive investment but Wildy has found a more economical option.
