The Senate budget Committee has passed its version of the fiscal year 2008 Budget Resolution. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, the resolution passed on a party line vote of 12 to 11.
Suggested introduction cut 2:
Minnich says there is a place holder in the Senate budget resolution for the farm bill which would allow for up to a 15 billion dollar increase in spending.
