The National Cotton Council has scheduled dates and locations for the 2006 Cotton Foundation Producer Information Exchange or P.I.E. Program.

The National Cotton Council has scheduled dates and locations for the 2006 Cotton Foundation Producer Information Exchange or P.I.E. Program. Harrison Ashley, Assistant Director of Member Services says upon completion of this year’s four tours, the P.I.E. program will have exposed nearly 750 U.S. cotton producers to innovative cotton production practices in regions different than their own.

Suggested introduction cut 2:

The Council’s Member Services staff, in conjunction with local producer associations, conducts the P.I.E program, including participant selection. According to Harrison the P.I.E. program also receives support from the Cotton Foundation via a grant from the program’s new sponsor, Bayer CropScience.
