The World Trade Organization Doha Round of talks is going to miss the April 30 deadline.

The World Trade Organization Doha Round of talks is going to miss the April 30 deadline.  According to Dr. Gary Adams, Vice President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council there are still significant differences among the WTO members.

Adams says the critical time frame is between now and the end of July but no new deadlines have been set for the negotiations.

Suggested introduction cut 3:

According to Adams there is still a division among the countries and what they are willing to offer for agricultural market access.
