The House Agricultural Committee held a farm policy review panel in Stockton, California. John Pucheu, Vice Chairman of the National Cotton Council and California cotton producer testified before the panel in support of the current farm law.

Pucheu testified that California cotton producers support using current law as the basis for future farm policy.

Pucheu stressed that it is critically important that farm policy is balanced between commodities because a significant number of California cotton producers also produce specialty crops.
