This week’s Cotton Newsline is 3 cuts. All cuts are Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the National Cotton Council.

The National Cotton Council’s annual planting intentions survey was sent out in December. According to Dr. Gary Adams, Vice-President of Economics and Policy Analysis for the Council, the survey results are showing an overall increase in cotton acreage.

Adams says the Midsouth will see the largest increase in cotton acreage.

Adams says there are still other factors that will affect the number of acres planted to cotton.
