The Senate voted 97 to 2 on Thursday to pass the Agriculture Appropriations bill. According to Robbie Minnich, Senior Government Relations Representative for the National Cotton Council, this 100 billion dollar spending bill would fund agriculture, food and drug programs.

Minnich says the Ag Appropriations bill will now go to the Conference Committee to prepare final legislation.

According to Minnich Senator Grassley’s payment limitations amendment did not come up for discussion.
