The National Cotton Council sees Monday’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling in the beef marketing campaign as a favorable development for the Cotton Research and Promotion Program according to Craig Brown.

This week’s Cotton Newsline is three cuts. All cuts are Craig Brown, VP of Producer Affairs for the National Cotton Council.

Suggested introduction cut two:

The Cotton Research and Promotion Program case had been stayed pending the out come of the beef case. Brown, National Cotton Council Vice-President of Producer Affairs says the case should start moving forward again.

Suggested introduction for cut three:

The Cotton Research and Promotion Program also is facing a legal challenge.  The program is subject to a lawsuit filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade and an administrative challenge filed with USDA.
